RPC Master Boarding Contract
Please note that you will be asked to sign a copy of this contract on your first stay at Golden Lake.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF CAMP:  The Camp agrees to provide reasonable care and to keep the Camp sanitary and properly enclosed.  The pet will be fed properly and housed in clean, safe quarters.

All pets are boarded or otherwise handled or cared for by the Camp without liability on the Camp's part for loss or damage from disease, death, theft, fire, injury to persons, injury from other pets, or property by said pet or other unavoidable causes, due to diligence and care having been exercised by the Camp.  In any event, Pet Owner and Camp agree expressively that Camp's liability shall in no event exceed the sum of $1000 per animal boarded.  In the event the Pet Owner declares the animal's value to exceed this limit, the Pet Owner declared value of said Pet is $____________ as substantiated by the proof of purchase receipt submitted to the Camp.

Owner is responsible in providing updated vaccination records to be kept on file at the Camp. Vaccinations are to include only RABIES and 6 month Fecal Exam Results for Dogs; and RABIES Vaccine for Cats. Vaccine Titers Test results is also accepted. For the "first time" client, proof of DHLPP vaccine for dogs as well as vaccines listed above.

Pets could be checked for Fleas. If Fleas are found, the Pet will be given a flea Bath at the Pet Owner's expense and will be added to the Invoice.

 NO PETS ARE PERMITTED IN THE CAMP OFFICE WHEN CHECKING IN OR CHECKING OUT.  Either leave your Pet in your car or place Pet in a staging pen by the Camp Office Entrance while checking in/out.

Monday through Saturday CHECK IN/CHECK OUT times are 8:00am-11:00am, and 4:00pm-6:00pm.  Sunday CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT is limited to 4:00pm-6:00pm ONLY.  A Pet Owner will be charged an off-hour pick-up or drop-off fee when arriving at any other time for any reason.  There are no CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT hours on holiday days.

ILLNESS OF PET: If the Pet becomes seriously ill, the Pet Owner shall be notified at once. If the state of the Pet's Health requires quick action, the Camp will transport to nearest veterinarian available for treatment at Pet Owner’s expense.

CAMP PAYMENT POLICY: All boarding pet fees MUST be paid before Pet is released to the Pet Owner. If fees ARE NOT paid, Pet will NOT be released. The Pet Owner is then responsible for all additional fees incurred due to Pet’s extra boarding. When a reservation is booked, the Pet Owner is responsible for paying the full fee whether the reservation stay is shortened or the reservation stay is lengthened.  During our summer season, (5/15–9/15) and any major holidays, there is a 3-day minimum charge on weekends.

RESERVATION CANCELLATION FEES: Pet Owners are asked to provide a Security Deposit for all reservations-most commonly asked for is a major VISA or Mastercard Credit Card number. During non-peak season (9/15-5/15), a charge of $10 is placed on the card when a cancellation is made on a reservation placed in the computer. If less than a 48 hour notice is given for a cancellation or a no show of the reservation, a $50 charge is made. During peak season (5/15-9/15), a charge of 50% of the scheduled stay billing (i.e.8 days @ $30/day x .5 = $120) will be charged with less than a 48 hour notice.  If more than a 48-hour notice is given for a cancellation, a charge of $10 is placed on the card.   If a Pet Owner will not give a charge card number to hold the reservation, $50 in cash or check is then asked for as a security deposit.  If no cancellation occurs, the security deposit of cash or check will be applied toward the boarding fee at the time of check out.
